Purple Hulled Jelly
It’s that time of year again & this will surely give your guests something to talk about. This recipe dates back to the Great Depression where nothing went to waist. The unique jelly made from purple hulled peas is described as “grape flavor”; in my opinion, it’s somewhere between mild grape & muscadine. Get it while you can or pick up a bushel of peas to make it at home! This is a seasonal item. Don’t miss it.
